University of Oregon Summer Session 2012

Summer is a great time to spend in Eugene! Build skills or pursue a passion during Summer Session 2012. Summer session classes begin throughout summer term and vary in length, so you can get ahead and still have time to take a break.

Benefits

• Smaller class sizes and opportunities for non-traditional classes
• More personal contact with instructors
• Complete an entire sequence of language, math, or science in one summer
• Eight credit limit for non-admitted students waived
• Financial aid available for admitted students
• Take classes during part of the summer and still have a summer job or go on vacation

How does it work?

If you are an admitted returning student:

1. Look at the class schedule when it is released in March
2. Register for classes on DuckWeb beginning May 7, 2012
3. Enjoy your summer in Eugene

If you are a non-admitted student:

1. Request a catalog with detailed course descriptions and check out the online class schedule available in March
2. Complete a Registration Eligibility form online
3. Receive a University ID number and PAC code with registration directions in the postal mail in April
4. Register for classes on DuckWeb beginning on Friday, May 11, 2012
