CLAS 314 Gender and Sexuality in Antiquity (4) June 23–August 15. Introduction to construction of the norms of Western sexuality through study of Greek and Roman attitudes toward gender roles, homo- and heterosexuality, the family, and privacy. Chamberlain.
CLAS 399 Sports in the Ancient World (4) June 16–20. The classical roots of modern athletic competition, with an emphasis on the role of sports in ancient Greek and Roman education, religion, and politics. Chamberlain.
LAT 101, 102, 103 Basic Latin (5,5,5) June 23–July 18; July 21–August 15; -August 18–September 5. Intensive course covers the fundamentals of Latin grammar so that students may enter LAT 301 fall term. Dechert.
