DAN 251 Looking at Dance (4) June 23–July 18. Overview of dance as a cultural and aesthetic experience. Includes screenings of some of the world’s greatest dance videos; a field trip; movement laboratories; human movement research. No experience in dance required. Honka.

DAN 301 Dance and Folk Culture (4) June 23–July 18. An exploration of Africa, its history and its ritual and daily life as expressed through dance. Examines the culture through readings, videos, and dance. No experience required. Honka.
