DSC 330 Business Statistics (4) June 23–August 15. Computer-aided business applications of hypothesis testing, simple linear regression. Introduction to multiple regression and nonparametric techniques. Blocked and completely randomized one- and two-factor experimental designs. Students cannot receive credit for both DSC 330 and 330H. Barnes.
DSC 335 Operations Management (4) June 23–August 15. Concepts and applications of operations management. Use of information technology in operations. Topics include forecasting, quality, supply-chain management, information systems in operations management, and planning and scheduling. Pre- or coreq: DSC 330. Students cannot receive credit for both DSC 335 and 335H.
DSC 340 Business Information Systems (4) June 23–July 18. Explores standard protocols for describing and modeling business information and processes; techniques for designing management information systems; criteria for analyzing firms’ implementations for information technology. Students cannot receive credit for both DSC 340 and 340H. Castner.
