J 204 Visual Communication for the Mass Media (4) June 23–August 15. Theory and application of visual communication in newspapers, magazines, television, advertising, and public relations.
J 361 Reporting I (4) June 23–August 15. Basic training in news gathering. Extensive writing under time pressure, including a variety of assignments: straight news, features, interviews, speeches. Prereq: J 202, 203.
