LA 352 Digital Landscape Media (2) June 22–August 14. Introductory survey and skills development in a range of basic computer-graphic tools used in landscape architecture. Includes image processing, computer drawing, modeling, and drafting.
LA 390 Urban Farm (4) June 22–August 14. Experimentation with food production in the city; rebuilding urban soils; farm animal-plant relationships; nutrient cycles. Cooperative food production and distribution; use of appropriate technologies. Open to nonmajors.

LA 407/507 School Gardens (4) June 15–19. Supports K–12 educators in use of gardens as outdoor classrooms to teach health and nutrition, food security, waste management, and garden techniques.
LA 408/508 Design and Process (8) June 22–August 14. Explorations combine media skills with introduction to landscape architectural design principles and practice. Projects geared toward development of creative and intellectual inquiries. Includes field trips. Extra fee.
